Like humans, dogs have two sets of teeth in their lives.
The 28 baby teeth erupt through the gums between the third and sixth weeks of age. Puppies do not have to grind much food, so they do not have molars.
Puppy teeth begin to shed and be replaced by permanent adult teeth at about four months of age. Although there is some variation in breeds, most adult dogs have 42 teeth, with the molars coming last, at about six or seven months.
Will puppys loose their teeth as kids do?
only if you let 'em chew on bricks

Reply:wet a washrag, roll up and freeze .... voila - puppy teething toy
Reply:yes they do
Reply:All dogs lose their puppy teeth about three to four months old. That is why they chew on any and everything to loosen the teeth and relieve the pain. Buy lots of chew toys. The cloth ones are the best. It helps them cut the new teeth and saves your stuff from being torn up. Good luck!
Reply:No they will just grow.
Reply:yes but people never see them because they usually swallow them.
Reply:yes
Reply:Yes...Unfortunately unlike children whom chew on their hands, puppy chew on EVERYTHING!!!
Puppies will be teething, loosing baby teeth and getting permanent teeth, between 3-6 months of age. Watch for the occasional adult tooth trying to come in with the puppy tooth still in place ... it may have to be pulled. Provide plenty of safe, acceptable things for the puppy to chew, such as nylabones, chew ropes, natural sterilized bones, and occasional rawhides. These satisfy the pup's lifetime desire to chew and carry things in his mouth as well as helping to remove tartar. Brushing the dog's teeth with a "doggy" toothpaste as often as possible is a great deterrent to tooth decay and the resulting "doggy breath". There are special toothbrushes for dogs, but a regular toothbrush works fine once the puppy is accustomed to the process; do not use toothpaste made for people.
My dogs love brushing their teeth, believe it or not.
Hope this helps...
Reply:Yes.Our's did. They get toothaches just like we do.
Reply:yes of course your baby tooth felt out right. An adult dog has bigger teeth than puppies how did they do that, by losing their baby teeth duh. My dog lost hers and you should give them shew toys its going to make it easier
Reply:They loose them between 3-6 months old. Give them lots of chew toys. Most of the time they swallow their teeth, but on occassion, you will find one or two, especially when playing tug with them on their ropes. Good luck enduring the teething stage though. It's rougher with dogs than kids, as kids don't chew your furniture or hands...LOL.
Reply:yes. you should find little teeth in their food bowls. they wont lose all their teeth though. they should stop after 6 months
Reply:Yes. Sometimes they swallow them %26amp; poop them out, or loose them in the yard or the worst on your carpet where you don't see them %26amp; then OUCH!...you find it stuck in your foot!
