I have had braces for less than a week, and one of my teeth are loose! Why is this happening? Is it even normal for a person to loose a tooth after you have lost a baby tooth?
Is it normal to have loose teeth while having braces?
When I first got my braces that happened too. It is just your teeth being moved by the braces. Do not wiggle them. I know it hurts but it will pass with time. It may happen a little each time they tighten them too. No pain, no gain in this case. If it gets really severe call your orthodontist so he can recommend something. P.S. don%26#039;t eat any carmel...it is heck on braces.

Reply:It is normal to a certain extent but I would ask your doctor to check it out...you will also end up with short roots on your teeth for life this is not something they tell you before hand...the process does not allow the root to grow to full length..
