It is just like a child. They have to get rid of their baby teeth in order to make room for the new adult ones.

Reply:Yup, totally normal. They have baby teeth just like we do and will lose them in favor of the adult teeth. This is pretty much the right age for it to be happening, too, so I wouldn't worry about it. Most of the time they swallow them, but if you see any around...don't worry! All is well.
