Ok, so I have 3 loose teeth!!! And this wouldn%26#039;t be a problem except it takes my teeth like a year to fall out! :-( Ok, so I have two molars that are loose, they are right on top of each other, and then I have an insicor that is loose on the other side... any advice on how to get them out??? And I don%26#039;t want to pull.... PLEASE HELP!!!!

If you eat an apple they will come out but you might swallow them so be carefull
Reply:Your options can differ depending on your age, actually. If your older, just go get them pulled. Younger, you may want to wait. How old are you?
Reply:Hi! This is the only time I give my patients permission to eat caramel or candied apples. This will really move them around or pull them out. The reason they seem to take so long is the root has to dissolve before the tooth is loose enough to fall out. And swallowing the tooth is no big deal, it will pass right through. I%26#039;ve patients eat marbles, small plastic toys and coins and out they come.
The other thing that helps ease them out is tootsie rolls. JUST make sure you brush thoroughly after!! Remember, even as a dentist, I don%26#039;t want to pull out teeth if the person can loosen them up themselves. But DON%26#039;T over do it. When the teeth are ready they will come out, just be patient. And try the apples. If you have any other questions, please ask. Marie
Reply:your problem is called LJP (localized juvenile periodontitis). consult with a periodontist for more advice, but you probably have to extract them.
