do kittens like babies have baby teeth, I have two kittens 6 months old and tonight i found a tooth!!!

Reply:Of course they do. Fact of human and animal life. They would look pretty funny all grown up with teeny tiny teeth in their mouth and would not very useful either. Not to worry.

Reply:Yes they lose teeth.Eventualy they stop losing teeth just like humans.I stepped on a tooth one time and it hurt like S*@#.

I have raised two cats from kittens.. and I've NEVER found teeth. I was just relieved when they got older and their teeth weren't so razor sharp! lol!

Reply:i didnt kno they could lose teeth! i've had my 4 year old cat since she was 8 weeks old and i've never seen her lose any! wow that makes me wonder how many teeth are laying around my house, gross!
Reply:yes they do, the same as dogs or human babies, they lose their milk teeth and get replaced with adult teeth

Reply:Yes, they lose their baby teeth and grow in their adult teeth. This is the main way a vet is able to guess your cat's age. Most of the time when they lose the teeth they simply swallow them. This is ok and perfectly normal. It also explains why most people haven't found baby teeth all over the place.
Reply:just like little kids, they have a baby set of teeth, nothing to worry about. make sure you give them hard food, it helps to get rid of the baby teet saftely, that way if they play rough with each other, one doesnt bite the other and lose it that way!
Reply:No, they don't "loose" their teeth. But they do lose them in preparation for their adult teeth to grow in.
