How lose are her teeth? How much did the gums shrink?

Your question is too general. Depending on what type of cancer she had, and what doses of chemo/radiotherapy she received, it is possible that she could be cured.
Reply:My Mom's ex had radiation treatments and his teeth got so bad from it that they started to crumble,he eventually had to get all of them pulled and get dentures.
