4 impacted wisdom teeth throbbing pain loose stitches?

Had 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed at 2 pm on Wednesday (Dec. 13). The pain was manageable the first day, and most of the second. I followed my instructions, used gauze and iced my cheeks often.

My face is swollen and, last night, I awoke to a horrible pain on the upper, right side of my mouth. The stitches, which are absorbable, have come loose on the top, I think. The pain fades in and out. The swelling around my face has increased, and my cheeks are often very hot. I'm hungry, but haven't been able to eat because my jaw hurts and I'm afraid of disturbing the clotting process. I was feeling better this afternoon, so I ate some pudding then fell asleep. When I awoke, my shirt was bloody and I was in terrible pain. I used gauze and it seems to have slowed.

Do I have a dry socket, or is this normal? I know this is technically the third day of recovery, so do I need to relax for a while? I'm pretty upset right now.

Thanks in advance for any advice. I appreciate it.

4 impacted wisdom teeth throbbing pain loose stitches?
You should call your dentist and let them know your symptoms. They may want to have a look. You may have been bleeding due to the loose stitch you describe but there is the possibility of a dry socket as well, you need the diagnosis of a dentist. If it is a dry socket they will need to treat that. You should take some ibuprofen to help with the swelling, it is a pain killer but it also has some anti-inflammatory qualities.
Reply:Do you have infection? You may need an antibiotic as well as pain reliever.
Reply:Sounds like a possible infection. Seek medical help

also have you drank liquid food.. thats what you should still be doing i was on Liquids for 3 days
Reply:Drinks that are heavy sugared non carbonated drinks, helps close the wound up, clots up so there is no blood and lessens the pain.
Reply:Did you smoke or use a straw? either of those things can cause dry sockets. and that is what it sounds like you have. either way i would call the dentist IMMEDIATELY. not monday not tomrrow. NOW. The fact that the pain and swelling has INCREASED is not a good sign. not to mention the hotness of your face. Id play it safe and call him now!

(dry sockets hurt awful, been there done that)
Reply:I just got mine out a couple of months ago and it was bad, but not that bad! Make sure you do hot packs too if they said to, and take your vicadin! It really sounds to me that you need to go see your oral surgeon just to make sure because that much bleeding seems like too much!!
Reply:i am very surprised that they removed them all at one time usually they only want to remove 1 at a time. for the pain i suggest getting some 101 proof wild turkey whiskey soaking a gauze pad in it and just setting it back there and it will numb your gums so you do not feel the pain you will have to keep repeating this . i did this and it was the only thing that helped me. and get in touch with your doctor right away if you cannot reach him/her go to the emergency room at the hospital
Reply:Relax so your blood will stop pumping. Take some 800 mg motrin to take the swelling down. If you have tylenol codine that would be good too. Gargle with warm salt water and after peroxide if you're worried about infection. Make some mashed potatoes and chiken soup and mix it together in a blender and take a straw that goes all the way to the very back of your throat and drink that way and try to keep your mouth as closed as possible while sucking. Take the meds on a regular schedule like every 6 hours or as needed but make sure you have put something on your stomach prior to the motrin. blend, blend, blend, and try to sleep as much as possible try watching a whole bunch of movies and just relaxing, if you have to take a unisom (not the gels they give you a hang over). If the swelling, pain, and bleeding do not cease after two days go back something is seriously wrong. It should slow down and your blood will thin with the motrin and when you relax and get something in your stomach you should see an improvement of some sort (slowing down of blood) pain lessening in it's intensity over the next day 1/2. Blessings to you I've been there myself and had the same scare. Be sure to keep your gauze fresh and clean and changed and pact real good once it's changed.

BLESSINGS TO YOU FOR A SWIFT RECOVERY IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!! I CLAIM THIS FOR YOU!!! AMEN.
Reply:you should be on pain meds..take them thats why they gave them some antibiotics and a mouth rinser...follow your instructions...for the bleeding you can actually get a tea bag and wet it and put two in your mouth one on each side helps with the clotting..do not use a straw...drink clear juices stay away from any thing red...jello or drinks....you need to know if you are bleeding or if its something you eat or drink...if you do not feel better tomorrow...call your dentist..has he called you yet to see how you are doing?you need to continue with the icing and the heat on your face again should be in your instructions..i just went thru this in jan with my son he only had two there werent any more and they cut them out....i was more freaked and stayed on top of his healing the entire week until he could go back to school than he was..i also had to deal with my own being pulled and when my husband had his cut out all four at once..best thing you can do is prop up some pillows and chill out read a book or watch tv...
Reply:Go to urgent care, now, and get put on antibiotics. This sounds like a bad infection.

Try to avoid sugary foods (like pudding) since it's not good for the immune system to fight off infection. Try some low cal protein shakes or baby food.

Go the the dentist ASAP so he can inspect for dry socket.

Get well soon! best of luck.
Reply:YOU NEED TO CALL YOUR DENTIST IF YOU ARE STILL BLEEDING AND YOU ARE IN PAIN IF YOU FOLLOWED ALL OF YOUR POST OP INSTRUCTIONS YOU SHOULD NOT BE HAVING THESE SYMPTOMS CALL YOUR DR

My teeth have been loose...from braces..?
Sounds like you should go back and check with your dentist... They shouldn't be that wobbly.
Reply:it means the braces are working mine r too i got my braces 2 weeks ago loose teeth is nothing to worry about
Reply:thats good. the treatment is working. You are fines they will stop being loose soon.
Reply:Your teeth arent loose. They are mobile. Its normal. It only means they are moving! Thats what you want! You dont want braces and not have your teeth move!
Reply:Yes, what everyone else said, it's perfectly normal. But I wouldn't recommend constantly wiggling them, because it might make them feel looser.
Reply:Thats normal. It means there moviing.
Reply:hey don't worry about it its not uncommon if u thing about it your braces are pulling and moving your teeth so they are bound to be "loose" they ant really loose its just because they are moveing it will be like it untill u get them off and u will then have a retainer this will keep your teeth in place and you teeth will no longer fell loose

I found out I grind my teeth. One of my top teeth in the front is loose in the socket. I can not eat help!?

I am getting a night guard but everytime I eat soup or smoothies my tooth gets loose in its socket and then tightens up. Is this normal? Does anyone have any suggestions? I see my dentist on Wednesday but I am hoping to go in sooner. I am in discomfort.

I found out I grind my teeth. One of my top teeth in the front is loose in the socket. I can not eat help!?
I wish I can help you with that question but I do have some info on those night guards...

It's best for you to get a customize mouth guard then a store bought mouth guard for the simple reason is that, with a customize mouth guard it be fitted for your teeth, every groove and every else will be perfect so that it will help out...

I grind my teeth too at night and I feel a lot of discomfort... So I'm going to get a customize mouth guard for myself..

Talk to your dentist about a getting a customize mouth guard, it may cost more but it'll fit you like a glove...

Just keep on eating foods that are easy on the teeth... good luck...

If a permenent tooth becomes loose when you ate something hard, can your teeth's roots heal and go back?

I was eating a tostitos chip and now my tooth is abit, alot ok in the middle? But anyway it is loose and permenent can the roots heal?

If a permenent tooth becomes loose when you ate something hard, can your teeth's roots heal and go back?
It depends on just how the tooth is and what can be done to salvage it. Just eating chips made your teeth loose? It sounds like the tooth may have been unhealthy to begin with. Definitely seek the advice of a dentist- ASAP!

As for your other question, there are things called "tooth implants" done by oral surgeons that fit a tooth down into your gum and stays there just like a normal tooth. They are probably expensive but I'm sure they look and feel much better than a bridge or false teeth.

Good luck! :)
Reply:Nopes. Report It

Reply:No, you need to go to the dentist.
Reply:NO See you dentist ASAP
Reply:You have a major problem that can only be cured by spending big money.

The other answerer was right that your tooth was bad before and now you are just realizing it. Around here it is about $1500 to get the implant anchor installed in your jaw bone by a periodontist. Then you need to go to a regular dentist who will make the tooth that attaches to the anchor for another $1500.
Reply:I had a permanent front tooth come loose when I was like 14. I couldn't help playing with it with my tongue cuz it wiggled when I talked and it fell out like a few days later. I just left the gap after it came out to go with my other gaps. I had really bad teeth already tho.

Do permanent teeth grow in the same place where you loose your baby teeth?

My daughter ( 5yrs) just come to me and told me her tooth is loose. I was looking at it and I noticed another tooth coming in right behind the loose one. Is it normal to have your permanent tooth coming in right behind the baby tooth and the baby tooth isnt even out yet?

Do permanent teeth grow in the same place where you loose your baby teeth?
well not always thats why baby teeht are mostly straighter than permannet teeth, most permanent teeth grow in crooked
Reply:yup, pretty common.
Reply:Yes, that's fine. FYI though - there are only 20 baby teeth and 32 permanent teeth so they don't always line up exactly. Check out the cool link below:
Reply:Very normal yes.

Is it common for my four year who's going to be five on march 26 have two loose teeth?

My daughter lost her 1st tooth when she was 4 years 11 mos old (back in June). She lost her 2nd about 4 weeks later, and her third about 3 months later (that's all she has lost to date). She is still missing her 3rd tooth - it is just starting to come in now.

Is it common for my four year who's going to be five on march 26 have two loose teeth?
Yes.
Reply:He wouldn't perchance happen to be a 4 year old shark, would he?
Reply:My 5 year old lost his 2 fronts already and they are already growing in.
Reply:Yes i have a 4 year old who just lost a tooth a couple of weeks ago. She's already got another one loose

Don't let the 4 year old pull it out than it will come in cricked

Good luck
Reply:Precocious child! Just think...no school pictures with missing front teeth! There is such a wide variance in what is "normal." Your child is fine. You might want to be sure that he or she does a good job of brushing the new teeth. It's kind of hard for a little person to brush well. Maybe you can get a child-size electric toothbrush.
Reply:Children commonly start losing their teeth between 4 and 7. It's quite normal. The two loose ones are probably the middle front ones on the bottom and, if you'll remember, those were probably the first two to come in. Did s/he get teeth early too? That can sometimes play a role in it too. Don't worry. =)

My New Puppy Bites ALOT! I don't know Why But She Does Have Loose teeth.?

She Also Was Very Calm at the Pet Store, But Now Is so Hyper! She also Barks whenever anyone comes in the house. I need help on training, or else we have to sell her! (She is a shnauzer cocker spaniel mix.)

My New Puppy Bites ALOT! I don't know Why But She Does Have Loose teeth.?
You need to go to puppy kindergarten with her. This will not only give you both the tools for training, it is a great socialization and bonding experience.

She is very insecure. She more than likely has been through a lot in her tiny life... pet store dogs usually do. They are usually born in crowded noisey conditions and given minimal human contact, because they are just a paycheck. at 6 weeks they are then shipped to a broker who holds the pups till they are 8-10 weeks old. There they are again in cramped quarters not given ample room to exercise and the ones that develope issues are put done. The rest are pumped full of antibiotics and other 'vitamins' till they are sent to the pet store... where unsuspecting consumers fall for a puppy in the window and are told some little white lies ("it's just a little cold" "we guarentee the health" "our puppies come from breeders all over" "she'll grow out of that" etc.)

So you end up with a pup that has had little human contact, bonds to whoever it can, but has lacked consistancy in its life. Has more than likely been pumped full of antibiotics to keep it from getting 'kennel cough' and had to travel a distance in a crowded cage.

Now that you may understand your pups psyche a bit more...

get to obedience class. Love your pup... and play with her often. Both of those breeds are hyper, puppies are hyper, and she can be handled.

PUPPY CLASS! Lots of play... games... hide and seek, walking, etc. A tired puppy is a happy puppy.

And next time, please stay away from pet stores... you are only feeding the money hungry beast that is puppy mills.

I know... i fell for it myself years ago. Ended up with a sweetheart of a Yorkie that died at the age of 6 from lymphoma.
Reply:babys go thru a teething stage

so do dogs

it what its like to have a puppy

theyre hyper

buy her some toys
Reply:She bites because she is teething, but it's also because of the type of dog she is. Smaller dogs have a tendency to bark and bite more than big dogs. Just keep on training her and if that doesn't help than take her to obedience classes.
Reply:Get her a chow toy and when she starts to chow on stuff she is not suppose to tell her no and give her the chow toy and pet her at the same time to get her to stop chowing. It is very hard the get shnauzers to not bark, I have one who is 5 years old and still barks everytime someone comes in the house. You could get a shock collar (the ones you can controll the shocking) and when she barks push the button. They do work.
Reply:All puppies loose teeth and its painful for them so the best thing for them is something to chew on. Raw hide dog bones are excellent. They are young and try to get away with things so its time for firm action and firm no is good. Take them out for a long walk when you can, give them toys that can be chewed on, and lots of love and praise is also good. DO NOT EVER HIT THE DOG. If you can take it to a vet for check-up sore gums are painful for them, and a nice warm drink is also good and helps them to sleep. Cuddles go along way also.
Reply:no worries my pup bites too, tooand u can give bones to her

buy it from pet store.dogs will bites when they get thirst and they will get angry
Reply:That is because most of those pups in the pet stores have been medicated to stay calm from all the stress if being shipped from puppy mills to brokers and to pet shops. Didn't anyone ever tell you to never purchase a pet from a pet store?

Add.... uh oh, thumbs down, someone did not want to hear the TRUTH about pet store pups.
Reply:stuff a few kongs, freeze them. great for teething, and for a little quiet for you as well. pups need to chew.

really, I would suggest taking a puppy kindergarten course with your dog. it gets the dog socialized, and trains you, as well as the dog. usually you will get handouts on how to deal with barking, like learning the bark on command, and the quiet command.

puppies are hyper, some more than others, and it just takes time to adjust, and get over certain phases of puppyhood.
Reply:Please excuse me if this seems rude. Have you ever had a dog before? This is typical puppy behavior. You bought a dog at a puppy store? Do some research on why that's a bad idea.

You are thinking of "selling" the dog? Dogs are not disposable. When you acquired the dog, you committed to care for it. Would you sell your children if they misbehaved?

Puppies require the committment of love, training, affection, care, grooming and proper feeding.

As for biting, she's teething. Get her some chew toys and teething biscuits. Ask at a pet supply store which is best for your dog.

Find some obedience training classes in your neighborhood and bring your dog. Many pet stores offer training, or at least books on how to.

You and your dog can learn together how to live together and enrich each others' lives.
Reply:Try this article
Reply:It gets really funny when their "milk teeth" fall out and you get "gummed". But barking when anyone comes to the house is actually a good thing as they're "defending their patch" . first time my current puppy barked like mad I told him to shut up then found out that the back yard was on fire. Lesson learned.. listen to the dog.. As for training go to puppy school. as much of a benefit for you as for the dog.
Reply:She is just probably teething, she likes to bite right now.
Reply:go to puppy training classes

look them up on the internet in ur area

dont worry, all puppies bite and are hyper, i have a puppy, and bites all the time! it will stop trust me. and as for the loose teeth she / he is probably just loosing her baby teeth, they fall out at about 4 months old usually, they have for my labrador puppy.

good luck ;)
Reply:At the pet store, she was probably so desperate to get a good home she acted real docile. She came from a puppy mill probably as most pet store dogs do. Poor thing. As for her biting, don't worry, she's a pup!! She's just teething. My girl chewed up my leather chairs and chewed a hole in the drywall in the kitchen when she was tiny. No problem anymore as she's over two now. ha ha. Get her a kong toy and stuff it with cheese or peanut butter. That'll keep her busy for a while. Bitter apple spray will help the furniture and a very firm "NO BITE" when she's trying to teeth on you along with high pitched "owie, owie owie" noises will tell her biting humans is not appropriate.
Reply:Your puppy bites a lot because she is trying to get rid of her loose teeth. She'll be getting her adult teeth right after the baby teeth fall out.

She was very calm at the store because she was much younger and bored to death. You want your dog to be hyper, otherwise something would be wrong. She's just a baby. Nothing can hold them down. You and your family need to be more tolerant and understanding of what it is to own a puppy.

She barks whenever anyone comes to the house because that is her job to alert you all that an intruder is out there. One of these days that dog may just save your lives by barking and scaring a would be intruder away.

Don't give up on this young puppy. Even if you sold this one and got another one, it'll all be the same. Be nice to the dog, don't smack it, don't scream at it. Just let it be and trust me, as it gets older, it will calm down. Just remember that however strange that dog's behavior is to you, don't you think that that poor puppy might think you and your family are stange as well? Just be patient and love that dog.

I've had 16 dogs in my lifetime. We've had 2 or 3 dogs at a time and every one of them was as different from each other as day and night and rain or sunshine. Once I adopted a pet, I have never given any away or sold them. I treat my dogs as I would a person. It's even been said to me that I treat my dogs better than I am with people. I kept all my dogs whether they were bad, good, sick or stupid until God wanted them back.

Do you have to loose all you teeth b/4 you get braces?
Normally yes, you should loose all your teeth before you get braces.

Reply:Yes you have to lose all your teeth because braces can only be done on permanent teeth. Also don't get all excited about braces, the pain is quite unbearable.
Reply:If you're talking baby teeth, then yes, you do need to lose all of them first. I got braces when I was 10 so just hang in there...it won't be long now.

If you lose all of your teeth, what exactly are you planning on attaching your braces to?
Reply:You must have teeth to attach the braces to. If you didn't, there would be no way to get braces. Call your dentist and tell him/her you want brace and when can you start. Best of luck to you, and you won't be sorry. Straight teeth really help our self esteem which in turn makes more people want to be around us and we have a better social life. When do puppies loose all there teeth?

i brush them 2ce a week and will start everyday when she has all new teeth so when do puppies loose all of them?

When do puppies loose all there teeth?
Usually they start between 14-16 weeks of so ...
Reply:just like people, puppies have baby teeth, and then adult teeth.

it's normal for them to lose their teeth, to make room for the adult teeth.

If they didn't lose it, their baby teeth, for one thing, would not fit into their adult mouth.
Reply:Their adult teeth come in from back to front, beginning at about 3.5 months and ending with the adult canines (fangs) at 6 months. Usually you don't see them fall out, the dog swallows them.
Reply:um im thinking like 8 months
Reply:Puppies begin to lose their baby teeth around 4 months, depending on breed and size, and have their all adult teeth by 6 months.

As they are losing their teeth, their gum s will be a little sore, and she may not like the brushing... stay with it, because she'll be OK by 6 months.

Also, weigh her when she has lost all of her baby teeth. That will give you an estimate of 50% of her full weight when she stops growing.
Reply:dogs and puppys lose there teeth at any perioid of there life so you don't really know
Reply:puppies lose their new teeth around 5 to 8 months of age. they won't all fall out at once. a few teeth will fall out each week and gradually all of the puppy's baby teeth will fall out. during this process, blood tends to come out with the tooth so be aware of where the puppy is at ALL times. you don't want your new bedsheet red! also, during this 5-8 month range, your puppy will bite on anything they can get a hold of. at this stage, your puppy will be teething because their mouth gets itchy from new tooth growth.

good luck!
Reply:Puppies lose their puppy teeth around 4-7 months of age. Most of their baby teeth are so small and insignificant, that the puppy will just swallow them without even noticing. They should lose all their 'milk' teeth before their adult teeth emerge. Yes, it is perfectly normal for your puppy to lose its teeth now.

It is just like a child. They have to get rid of their baby teeth in order to make room for the new adult ones.

My puppy is 7 months old..is it normal for him to loose teeth?
As long as they are baby teeth, if not take him to the vet.
Reply:yes puppies loose their baby teeth just like kids do and then they get their adult teeth so dont worry it is normal
Reply:Yes
Reply:yes dogs lose their teeth but new ones will grow in.
Reply:My puppy lost baby teeth until she was about that age. It seems like they grow back really fast. Just make sure they are baby teeth.
Reply:yes don't worry my dog is doing that to she is 4 months the vet said in normal they r getting the permanent theet
Reply:yes it is normal.
Reply:Yup, totally normal. They have baby teeth just like we do and will lose them in favor of the adult teeth. This is pretty much the right age for it to be happening, too, so I wouldn't worry about it. Most of the time they swallow them, but if you see any around...don't worry! All is well.

Why are my gums loose after wisdom teeth removal?

So i had my bottom two wisdom teeth extracted 2 weeks ago, and feel like one side has healed back to normal. The right side however seems to have a gap between the tooth and gums; that is, my gums are loose and flappy around my molars, when they should be tight up against my teeth... Is this normal? and What should I do to keep keep my gums intact? Has this happened to anyone before?

Why are my gums loose after wisdom teeth removal?
Pretty normal salt water rinses 1/2 teaspoon of salt in 8 oz. warmest water you may tolerate rinse twice daily for one week also gently massaging that area with tooth brush doesn't hurt either. Be patient it will heal nicely. One side might have been more difficult that the other. Hang in there.
Reply:This is normal. Gums are very elastic tissue and need to be manipulated to extract the teeth. They will go back to normal in a while. And yes- this happened to me when my wisdom teeth were removed.
Reply:Got to give it some time to heal. Then it will go back to normal. If still not sure seek a doctor
Reply:I had all four out in september and the gums are still loose around the bottom teeth. They can take up to six months to settle said the surgeon. It creates a heck of a food trap so make sure you brush and floss regularly as soon as they aren't sensitive anymore.

I had a friend in NY that had the same problem and that's what she did... keep asking questions and look up resource for people with low income or no income.. yo will find something.

But, if they are truly loose and in good shape, you might be able to save them!

If not, eat an Apple, I have done that and when I bit into the Apple, I would reopen my mouth and the tooth was in the Apple, this works well when the tooth is loose and ready to come out.

Shop around, you will find some dentist, who will accept partial payment and set you up with a payment plan.

Or if you have some kind of medical plan,or call the local university or college ,some times they do it for free.

Good luck .

One more thing ,once those teeth are gone, then you have to worry about dentures. They cost a lot more than trying to care for your teeth.

My dog is 4 years old and has 5 loose teeth on the bottom row is this common?

Very common for the breed. Frequent dental care is a must. Do you feed soft food or hard food? Hard is best. I'm sure you're doing your best to care for the dog properly. The only way to have prevented the issue was to find a breeder that knows the history of the dog's family as sometimes dental issues are hereditary.

My dog is 4 years old and has 5 loose teeth on the bottom row is this common?
Has anything happened to him? How loose are they? 4 is young for most dogs and they shouldn't have really loose teeth. I would probably ask the vet about it next time you go.
Reply:No, this is rare.
Reply:i know a lot of my old dogs teeth got loose and eventually fell out. it is commen i think. you could try brushing his teeth.
Reply:It is common in dogs without prior dental care.Small dogs more so because their mouths are smaller.Time for a good dental cleaning/teeth extraction
Reply:what kind of dog is it? i have poodles and i have had problems with their teeth. my vet said small dogs tend to have more dental problems than big dogs. i would take her in for a check up
Reply:i had a yorkie and he lost a few teeth by while he was still a puppy.
Reply:it is quite common for little dogs to lose teeth quite early, 4 is a little young, but it could just be bad conformation in his mouth.

when i bought my first cavalier, her gran, (6 yrs) had hardly any teeth left,

you ll need to adapt his/her food if any teeth are lost, either to tinned food or soaked complete food.

all ways ask your vet for advice as your dog may be deficient in something in his diet.

Carefully ;%26lt;)

I've heard that it's happened though. If you stand next to a powerful older tube-type radio and move your head in different positions, you might get some humming. That would indicate a signal being picked up. Unlikely you'd actually be able to decipher it, though.

Whats the best way to preserve my sons teeth? He has his first loose tooth and I would like to keep it.?

My husband is an avid hunter and does european mounts, that is just the bones. Basically, you can boil it in peroxide and it will eat off any of the dead tissue left on the tooth, so there is no smell. I wish I would have known this for my kids' teeth. He just stared this last year. It works, tooth may even be whiter.

Whats the best way to preserve my sons teeth? He has his first loose tooth and I would like to keep it.?
My mom put mine in a bag.
Reply:u mean like keep it in his mouth or like jeep it for when he grows up?
Reply:just clean it,dry it carefully, and stick it in a box or medicine jar, they "keep" perfectly forever.
Reply:They aren't going to decay so you don't have to do anything special to preserve them.
Reply:put it in a zip lock bag but first clean with alcohol
Reply:there are some jewelry stores in which make a tip of gold hooked on the tooth to be used as a charm my mother did that to me and my sister when we lost our first tooth
Reply:Teeth pretty much preserve themselves. They have these new little boxes that you can buy that say babies first tooth. I have played the toothfairy for so long, those teeth just keep their beautiful white color in plastic baggie! LOL
Reply:My mom just kept mine in a box. I have little jewelry boxes I am putting my children's teeth in for them. You can also buy special containers to save them in.
Reply:It's good for the child (losing teeth can be painful/ disturbing) to do the whole tooth fairy and to let the keep it in a little box/bag. Clean it with alchohol. Give it to them. In a few years they will get bored and you can throw them out. Take pictures/ video of your children instead of keeping old teeth yourself.
Reply:teeth don't need to be kept any certain way, they will keep in anyplace you put them, but keep them hidden well if you are the tooth fairy

Do you no a home made medicine for loose teeth?

had an infection in my gums the dentist gave me pilicilin it work but it came back

Do you no a home made medicine for loose teeth?
My brother broke a tooth, got a fake reconstruction, it broke off years later, and he super glued it. What a hick.
Reply:DENTAL FLOSS
Reply:There is no homemade medicine for a loose tooth. The infection came back because the source of the infection is still there, you need to go back to the dentist and have the source of the infection taken care of.
Reply:I've been a dental assistant for years. There's no quick fix. You'll have to go back to the dentist. If the infection gets worse, you could lose all of your teeth because it can lead to bone loss, or interfere with the blood supply to your teeth and they'll die. The infection can also enter the blood supply to your body and make you very ill, or worse. Gum infections can cause major problems if not take care of properly. Good luck!
Reply:If your gums are not cared for, you will continue to get infections. If your gums are so bad that your teeth are loose, it's already too late. Bad news, I know, but it means your jawbones already have begun to deteriorate and there's no going back.

The antibiotics may cure today's infection, but it will keep returning as long as your gums are in bad condition. I think you will have to pull your teeth and get dentures. Do it now, or do it later. But you're going to end up doing it...
Reply:Purchase some Total Toothpaste by Colgate and brush you teeth about 4 times a day, it really works but you have to keep using and brushing your teeth.

You may have some type of infection, teeth or gum damage.

Try seeing a specialist. You have to really take care of your teeth and gums.

I had an infection because I take so much asthma medication and was not rinsing my mouth out after each treatment. But the one-time antibiotics worked for me along with using the Total Toothpaste.

I hope everything works out for you and hope you don't have to have your teeth removed if you are young.
Reply:Well I don't no if you would call it a medicine, it's more like a remedy. Get a piece of string, tie one end onto the loose tooth, the other to a door knob, stay still, slam the door really hard. Then "Presto" no more loose tooth. Repeat until all teeth are out.

Good Luck

What does the dentist do when you have loose teeth?

It depends what is causing it and whether he thinks it is reversible.

Loose teeth can be caused by amongst other things gum disease, bad diet, bone infection, aggressive brushing, receding gums.

Bone infections needs to be cut away, gum disease may be reversible without loosing teeth.

If he is saying you need to loose your teeth then it does not hurt to get a second opinion form another dentist.

What does the dentist do when you have loose teeth?
pulls them out.
Reply:kaching! mama needs a new yacht
Reply:Hi

The dentist will pull them out using a pliar type instrument

it doesnt hurt as you can have a needle which enters your gum to make it numb. it can bleed so prepare yourself first if your screamish!

your dentist should inform you about it when you sit on the seat

don't forget your free lollipop :)

bye bye
Reply:Pulls them out, and get a replacement screw in tooth. OUCH INTO THE BONE OPERATION

You may get crowns.

Veneers are possible if you have a root left.

Or I suppose if you are missing a bunch you can get some clackers...

Aka dentures.

I don't know. It's all expensive. Brush your teeth, floss, flouride twice a day and you will be good to go.
Reply:Depends on how loose. Sometimes he can refer you to a periodontist who will do a gum graft. They can take gum material from the roof of your mouth and graft it over the gums at the base of the loose teeth to hold them in place. Again though, it depends on how loose the teeth are.
Reply:Tightens them up with his gob spanner.
Reply:PULLS THEM AND I HOPE U HAVE INSURANCE , BECAUSE THEY NEED TO BE REPLACED, CROWNED OR IMPLANTS. OR U CAN JUST GUM IT

Why do people pull out their child's loose teeth? It's just going to fall out on its own. What's the rush?

I agree with you. Parents don't need to pull out their child's loose teeth, as they will fall out naturally.

Why do people pull out their child's loose teeth? It's just going to fall out on its own. What's the rush?
So the child doesn't swallow them. Then there will be worse problems.
Reply:It's so tempting to pull out, isn't it?! I'd say they need pulled once they are very loose to reduce the risk of the child swallowing the tooth and possibly cutting or irritating the throat, and of course choking.
Reply:You certainly dont want them to fall out on their own when your child is sleeping , do you?
Reply:To make room for the new tooth and give it more room to grow and so the kid will stop sticking their finhers in their mouthes . Kid hands are full of germs that make them sick.
Reply:Some parents are worried that the child might swallow it when eating which can be very scary for the young ones. Medically there is no rush unless it is interfering with the child's ability to eat or is causing the new tooth to not come in properly.
Reply:lil kids always complain wen they hav loose teeth that it hurts, it hurts wen they eat, blahblahblahblah...... parents jus yank em cuz its painless if u do it hard and QUICK and that kills the "oh i don wanna eat mom's mystery meatloaf, so ill blame it on my tooth". yea my mom can NOT cook to save her life....my sis always got away with this same thing
Reply:I never got my teeth pulled out, or if I did, I always pulled them, after I ran my tongue over it a lot. I think it;s to incite the growth or something, but it really doesn't matter..

oh, and losing teeth sucks, so creepy.
Reply:I can answer this from recent personal experience...I have four kids and two of them are loosing teeth right and left! Between the two they have lost three teeth in four days! The reason for me is that the loose tooth causes pain when it is loose but still attached yet the moment it comes out the pain ends. Pulling it may speed something that would happen naturally but it doesn't hurt anything and actually relieves the pain. Then there is also the - so they don't swallow it argument...
Reply:Well, I think it's because they're afraid that the kid'll swallow a loose tooth.

Or, they pull it out to let the child believe in the tooth fairy - they're afraid if the falls out on its own, their kid will not say a word to them and hide it under their pillow without telling them.

How to loose 2 baby teeth in 3 months?

I'm 13 years old and I recently went to the dentist's office. I have to get braces soon, and I have 2 baby teeth left. They are giving me 3 months to get them out, or else they are going to pull them. They are both cuspids(vampire teeth), and one is sorta loose and the other is barely loose.

Will i ever loose my baby teeth?

all my friends have lost their teeth and i still have all but two of my molers and both sets of canines. is it posible i will never loose them or could my mouth be to small. i have two teeth on the top that heven't grown in all the way and i lost them about a year and a half ago. the last time i lost a tooth was a year ago and it was a moler. my teeth are uneven and the top canines heve started to grow out wards towards the front. could some thing be wrong? my sister is 12 and has lost more teeth than me. i am 14.

Will i ever loose my baby teeth?
Yes you will! because usually if they don't go you requrie braces because your teeth will be over crowded.Everyones teeth are diffrent. If your not sure ring a dentist.
Reply:You should see a dentist. I dont know if there is anything wrong. maybe think of getting them pulled?
Reply:I LOST MY LAST TWO BABY TEETH AT 15. SO I JUST SAY EVERYONE IS NOT THE SAME. THAT IS SOMETHING YOU MUST KEEP IN MINED
Reply:I would get it checked out by a dentist if you're worried about it.

I made the mistake of not getting mine checked out and my baby canine tooth wouldn't budge to fall out. Which resulted in the adult canine tooth to be lodged inside my gum below my nose. Now it's sideways and can't be pulled out unless I undergo surgery.

So go see a dentist if you're concerned about that. They can take x-rays to see if there are other teeth trying to grow out, etc.

Good luck!

I'm scared to get the mold done.

I need false teeth on top, if they make the mold won't the loose teeth pop out?
Depends on how loose they are. I've only seen it happen a couple of times. Of course, it will be a little more uncomfortable for you because of the loose teeth. But the good thing is, your plate will fit better. Good luck.
Reply:the molds are a soft pliable rubber that does not stick to the remaining teeth. It tastes funky but only takes 3 minutes to form. They then use those to make a plaster cast of your mouth and then use the plaster to make your bridge or dentures
Reply:It's certainly possible, that's for sure.... and it's happened. It depends on the level of mobility of the tooth/teeth.

If it does, it's one (or more) less extraction fee you'll have to pay (at least in our office, anyway). With any luck the dental lab is close to the office, and their turnaround time is quick, so you won't have to wait too long for the dentures.... just remember it takes a couple of visits.

Good luck to you!

At age 66-female with loose teeth. Got deep cleaning but it didn't help. Is there a home remedy?

The deep cleaning should be followed up with an evaluation of the teeth. The teeth should start to tighten up again as the tissue re-attaches to the teeth. Although, everything will depend on your bone level.

There could be an extensive amount of bone loss, this would be a reason for the looseness of the teeth. We always hope for the reattachment of tissue which will offer added stability even with some bone loss. This is not always the case though I'm afraid and should have been explained thoroughly and everything taken into consideration prior to the root scaling or deep cleaning procedure.

Discuss your concerns and fears with your dentist; he may want to see you sooner than planned. This also will be dependant on how long it's been since the scaling procedure.

In some cases if the teeth don't tighten up they will require splinting. This is a good option and may help you to retain the anterior teeth for a slightly longer period of time or possibly permanently. The splinting gives the teeth the added stability that aids in the tissue reattachment. Try not to stress your teeth by eating or biting into hard or crunchy foods, "rocking" the already loose teeth even more. This rocking can cause even more damage to occur.

I can't express the importance of keeping your teeth clean. Take greater care of your teeth by brushing and flossing "more frequently" which will help to prevent the deep root cleaning and aid in your tissue reattachment.

Do contact your dentist so he can evaluate your teeth and help you to retain them longer or discuss options that may be in your best interest. There can be a variety of reasons for this dental failure to happen through no fault of your own. Discuss what options "you have" for long term retention or replacement. I'm not familiar with your case, so I am giving you a wide span of possibilities here. But hopefully I've been of some help and that you will discuss this with your dentist soon. Good luck with your future treatment.

At age 66-female with loose teeth. Got deep cleaning but it didn't help. Is there a home remedy?
Glad I could help. Report It

Reply:only thing you can do is take good care of them. nothing else you can do on your own. the doc may have a way to help you though.
Reply:no, there is no home remedy. you need to see your hygienist every 3-4 months or whatever they recommended for you and keep up a excellent home care routine at home.

a deep cleaning will only remove bacteria/plaque/tartar and prevent further destruction of the gums and bone. it does not cause regrowth of the bone or gums.

if your teeth were loose before the cleaning they will still be loose after.

the only improvement you would be able to 'see' is your gum tissue will be healthier and your perio charting numbers may decrease. and you will keep your teeth.

the point of 'periodontal cleanings' is to preserve your teeth and gums. you can not restore them once they are lost.

How to take out a loose teeth with out it herting?

Ok, it is NOT HERTING, IT IS HURTING, and the only way is if you go to a dentist, unless that is a baby tooth which won't hurt when it comes out!

How to take out a loose teeth with out it herting?
just pull then suck on ice
Reply:just wiggle it around in circles and it will fall out
Reply:go to your dentist, ask for double dose of lidocaine and let him do the job, pulling it out by yourself is reckless... coz it might get infected and worsen the situation...
Reply:drink as many adult beverages as possible, tie a line to the offending tooth, the other end to a door knob...stand as far away as possible, and have a "friend" slam the door.....then continue with the adult beverages
Reply:take some toilet paper and wiggle the tooth...then relax for 5 seconds...really wiggle the tooth hard...rest for 3 seconds then just wiggle and wiggle and twist and bend...having the toilet paper really helps!
Reply:Get drugged by the dentist with a general anesthetic, and then have them removed. Then when your mouth is all fixed up, go back to English class. XD
Reply:you can tie some unwaxed floss around the base securely. Tie it tightly. keep tightening it until you can't anymore. Rub some ambesol at the gum line and around the tooth and hold a piece of ice in there. then take a pair of pliers that have been washed and boiled in water for 7 minutes or soaked in alcohol. grab the tooth and jerk it out quickly.

Fishermen at sea pull their own teeth on a regular basis- so it can be done.
Reply:eat something that is hard and then it will fall out.

Teeth Dream - Brushing teeth and my gums were loose around my teeth...?

I had a dream that I was in my bathroom, looking at my reflection in the mirror while brushing my teeth. As I was brushing my teeth, I could see that my gums were loose around my teeth, but they were not bleeding. I was actually brushing my teeth behind the gum (and my mouth appeared to be bigger in the mirror than in real life). The guy that I am dating was also in the dream, and in the dream was telling me to keep brushing like that every day and it will soon heal and get better. (Something like that) I can remember hearing his voice, but I dont remember seeing him in the mirror. Now that I think about it, I dont know if I saw my own face, I think I was only seeing my teeth in the reflection. Any interpretations?

Teeth Dream - Brushing teeth and my gums were loose around my teeth...?
Hm. Offhand I would say think more about the things you say, and the effects your words have on people, and that your boyfriend is a good influence, and source of advice in your life, he's helping you to learn a better way to do things, and a healthier point of view... but it wouldn't hurt to have a dental check up either....
Reply:I remembered reading in a dream interpretation manual that falling teeth usually means a death of a person. I'm not so sure on this one though.

I had this falling teeth dream once, and the next day my friend told me her grandfather died.
Reply:To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. You may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you.

To dream that you are brushing your teeth, signifies your level of confidence, struggles and aggressiveness. You need to look out for yourself and your own interest.
Reply:ah, this is a simple one. in fact, i've had this one many, many times. and for all you out there who say its got a deeper meaning, stop looking so hard. put down the manuals. all it is, is that you hate the dentist, and you fear him finding something horribly wrong and having to remove your teeth or otherwise. its one of two things. fear of pain; you dont want to get your teeth pulled or something like that, or fear of being looked down upon because of appearances (eg, toothless). whichever fits you more.

Is there a cure for loose teeth or is it the pliers?

You need to see your dentist for proper instructions about the loose teeth. First the dentist will examine your teeth and make a diagnosis for the condition. From the diagnosis the dentist will have a treatment plan suitable for the condition. There are many causes for loose teeth and so are the treatments. The unmissable one being teeth professional cleaning. You may also need some dentists' instructions on general dental care.

Without scaring you I would suggest you visit the dentist as soon as possible because loose teeth could indicate severe gum disease which research has shown to be related to heart diseases. It is not always that loose teeth are extracted but it may not be ruled out.

Is there a cure for loose teeth or is it the pliers?
they will end up coming out eventually. go to your dentist and theyll remove it without the pain of leaving it there, doing nothing about it and having it knocked about
Reply:Doubt it but you can get them replaced once the dentist as pulled them.
Reply:You can't pull your own teeth.

Go to a dentist if you have dental problems.
Reply:Depends whats caused then to be loose!

Try rubbing your gums with whiskey that shrinks the gum a bit and tightens the teeth.

If after half a bottle it hasnt worked - you wont care!

Seriously though, go see a dentist!
Reply:How many teeth? If it's several, it would suggest gum disease.

It can be caught by your dentist. Try Corsodyl mouthwash meanwhile. If you smoke, stop. Smoking makes the problem worse. (I've been there!) See your dentist ASAP.
Reply:yes go to a dentist
Reply:It really depends on why they are loose, they can sometiems be reattached but it is almost always as a result of an accident and is done almost immediately. If your teeth are looseright now then germs and bateria is getting in there and starting to cause problems, so if they are loose now there won't be any hope.
Reply:sounds like it could be gum disease

go to the dentist every six months, eat healthily, don't take recreational drugs

see the hygienist, get advice how to brush your teeth, floss and eat healthily
Reply:tie a stuffed animal to a string and throw it down it the steps, while the other end is tied on your tooth
Reply:If they are really loose sorry its the pliers.
Reply:It is more than likely gum disease and it depends on the severity of it on wether it can be helped. See a dentist. If it's not to far gone they can do a deep cleaning to help some of the gums to heal. The bone around the tooth won't grow back, but the gums can heal up a little. A dentist can show you visuals and explain it a little more.

My puppy just had two loose teeth today and it fell out. should i go to the vet?

Puppies loose their baby teeth just like humans do. It is nothing to be concerned about.

But if you want to make sure that he doesn't loose his permanent teeth then just like a human you need to brush his teeth periodically and give him bones that will remove the built up plac on his teeth. You can buy them at any store in the dog food isle.

They will also help with that nasty smelling puppy breath.

Also make sure you keep your puppy on puppy chow for a full year and then feed him something that has all the nutrient values that he needs to be healthy. Cheap dog food can cause your dog to loose his teeth and his hair. Just like humans your pet needs to be properly taken care of with a good diet, periodic check ups, all his shots, dental care and lots and lots of love and attention.

My puppy just had two loose teeth today and it fell out. should i go to the vet?

What happens when u dont loose teeth 4 ur whole life?

Im Just Wondering

What happens when u dont loose teeth 4 ur whole life?
It depends on why you don't lose them. Some people are born and are naturally missing a few permanent (adult) teeth. If they don't form, the deciduous (baby) teeth that they should replace will often remain much longer than usual. I know of several people in their 50's with a baby tooth or two still present. They tend to wear down and become brittle and often end up having to be taken out at some point. If the baby teeth AND the adult teeth both come in, usually there is too much crowding and the baby will teeth will have to be removed.
Reply:If this happened, you would have very small teeth and probably be in a lot of pain from the impaction of your adult teeth. You'd have to see a dentist and get the baby teeth pulled, I'd assume.
Reply:youre messed up

I have a 4 year-old with LOOSE TEETH. How much is the "going rate" from the TOOTH FAIRY?

I have a 4 year-old with LOOSE TEETH. How much is the "going rate" from the TOOTH FAIRY?
When I was little, I got a small toy or trinket tucked in a secret area in the house..like under a bed or in rainboots. I had fun looking for the item, and kept all of the toys I received for years. I don't know your child's gender, but pick a small toy like a stuffed animal, car, or small game to hide somewhere in the house (or just put it somewhere hidden in your child's room). He/she will be so excited!

And it also doesn't have to be a ton of money. Hey, use that 1 dollar you were thinking about giving your child to buy the toy!

Reply:A coloring book with new crayons.
Reply:about a dollar, but really kids are happy with 50 cents. Many tooth fairies will give kids more money, but in my opinion you have 24 teeth to loose, a dollar is plenty.
Reply:isnt 4 a little early to be losing teeth?? i lost mine at about 7 or 8.

and a 4 year old could care less how much money they get, give them a quarter lol.
Reply:i get 5 dollars i tell my parents i still believe it but i really never did stopped when i was like 9 im 12 now
Reply:if shes only 4 she prolly doesnt even kno about the tooth fairy and how much money just giv her like 5o cents
Reply:$1.00 is fine but I think the value of the teeth go up as the child loses them!
Reply:MY kid gets a quarter - we don't really emphasize money, although we have plenty.

How much does your kid know about money?
Reply:as a child (early 80's), i got silver dollars or a couple half dollars. my children get two dollars, sometimes singles, sometimes a two dollar bill. dollar coins are always good, too, they are a little more special and rare to kids.
Reply:I always got .50 if it was a regular tooth but if it was a bigger than normal it would .75 or 1.00 but 2.00 is too much!!!
Reply:We gave our sons a certificate from Mabel the Tooth Fairy (from "Mabel the Tooth Fairy and How She Got Her Job" by Katie Davis) and a Sacajawea coin. It's really hard to find those coins now, so any kind of novel coin (Kennedy half dollar, gold dollar coin, etc..) would be great. Kids just like the pictures on the coins. Losing teeth shouldn't put the kids through college. If it did, I'd be pulling my teeth tonight!
Reply:DEAR MISS

I WOULD SAY ($ 1.50) IS FAIR OK

TAKE CARE
Reply:I would give $2.00... not too cheap and room to give more later. The toothfairy just gave my 8-year old daughter $3.oo last night and this morning she was very happy and content.
Reply:MY daughter's tooth fell out yesterday and I gave her 1 dollar, however the she wrote a letter to the tooth fairy asking for 5. At least the letter was well written.
Reply:I don't think the amount is that important. The things to consider are: 1. You want the amount to be enough that they're excited to get it (some kids are excited to get a quarter). 2. You don't want to make the amount so big that by the time they get a little older they'll expect so much per tooth that it gets ridiculous.

I know some people that started at $5 at that age and by the time the kid was a few years older the kid wanted $20.
Reply:yeah i would say a dollar.
Reply:we usually got like $5 at 4 and 5 when we got older $10. but once i got 2 visits from the TOOTH FAIRY and got $20.
Reply:Tooth fairy leaves $5 a tooth here. You can't even go to the dollar store with $1 anymore.
Reply:When i was 4 or 5, ( Im 11 now so i pick what i want) my mom gave me a buck or 2,And brang me to the toy store and i'd get little dress up kits for 2.00,Now my mom takes me to the store and lets me pick a toy from 5.00-10.00,And id play..That young id say a buck or 2,Or maybe a nickel with it,Candy.
Reply:Hi, I'm 12. When I was 4 i got $2.00 for my 4 front teeth and 1.50$ for the others; until I was older %26amp; got 2.75$ for my molars.

Hope this helped =]
Reply:I would say 2 dollars.
Reply:i gave my 6 yr old $5.00 to spend at the dollar store.
Reply:Gee, I only got a quarter back in the 70s! Lucky you.

My nephew just lost a few teeth over the past couple of months. The Tooth Fairy gave him $5 for the first tooth and $1 for each subsequent tooth.

What is the cause of loose teeth in an adult?

loose teeth in adults are related to factors liike poor oral hygine or any other disease leading to early bone loss...u can prevent it by maintaing good oral hygine......

What is the cause of loose teeth in an adult?
the most common reason is lack of care but this can also happen if you are deficient in calcium

Reply:gum disease? Maybe the prudent thing to do would be to talk with a dentist, and not a bunch of fools on yahoo who could be giving you bogus answers.

Reply:There are SEVERAL causes of loose teeth in adults and NONE of them are good. There is no home cure or preventive measure for any of the causes of loose teeth that I know about.

You need to see a dentist to find out why your tooth is loose and to get a recommendation for how to take care of it.

My crystal ball and gut feeling are telling me to tell you to be ready for bad news, so be ready for bad news. You have probably let this problem go too long to save your tooth and you probably have several other teeth that are not far behind.
Reply:most cases it is lack or oral hygiene. Lack of flossing will allow plaque to build up around the gumline and in the gumline causing bacteria to be trapped. This iritates the gums and they recede "extending" the length of the tooth because the root is becoming exposed (also causing sensitivity since the root doesn't have as much enamel as the crown). Plus with the bacteria trapped there it also destroys the bone with which the root is ancored (bone loss) allowing for less tooth stability, hence wobbly teeth. In other cases it's a genetic medical problem. Just make sure you floss 2x a day and brush as well, rinse too. What you have lost is not coming back. Gum recession and boneloss is not reversible. Sorry.

Wisdom teeth making others loose?

Can wisdom teeth cause other teeth to become slightly loose? My front teeth move slightly and my jaw aches. I am scheduled to have my wisdom teeth removed in two weeks and I am wondering if maybe it's them that are causing the others to be loose and my mouth feel tight. Thanks

Wisdom teeth making others loose?
Yes, your teeth will move a little bit when new ones are comming in. it might be uncomfortable for a while but you'll get used to it
Reply:YES! I waited too long to have mine removed and my other teeth began to squeeze off my incisor (canine) until the root of it was nearly exposed! DON"T WAIT to get them removed, it is costing me $5000 to get braces so I don't lose that canine tooth completely.
Reply:According to my info front teeth and wisdom teeth have a huge difference .. Consult ur physician .. There might be periodontitis .. or gum recession
Reply:Wisdom teeth can cause crowding. It can push the other teeth and throw your bite off by making your top and bottom not match. And your teeth will move to adjust. It's a good thing you're getting them out. I had the same problem and I feel good afterwards. There will be less "pressure" in your mouth. If they are very loose, like they can be moved back and forth with light pressure, ask your doc. It may be something else. Good luck!

Does gum make u loose teeth?

Some chronic gum chewers do tend to have more fillings(loss of tooth structure) due to the fact that they do not chew sugar-free gum. Sugar is the leading cause of tooth decay so when you are always "bathing" your teeth in sugar what do you think is going to happen? Chewing gum w/ sugar in it does in a sense cause tooth loss, but not to the point of having your teeth completely fall out. Your teeth would start growing decay and then the dentist would remove the decay and fill the void w/ a filling. Therefore you now have a loss of tooth structure, but not a loss of the whole tooth.

Does gum make u loose teeth?
Well not technically. The loss of structure is replaced by a filling therefore you once again have a "whole" tooth, just part of it is humanly fabricated. On the other hand now that you have a filling in your tooth, it may be more likely to get fractured which may cause future complications. Report It

Reply:no it helps them
Reply:no. but it can make you lose (non-metal) fillings. chewing anything wears on the enamel (the surface of the tooth) but that doesn't cause teeth to fall out. only damage to the root of the tooth (near the gumline) can do that.
Reply:Of course not, but a medical condition might! See a dentist. Good luck.
Reply:TAKE IT FROM A DENTIST

CHEWING GUM DOES NOT MAKE YOU LOSE TEETH. BUT NOT BRUSING THEM WILL MAKE THEM LOOSE.

Is it possible to loose teeth even if you brush and floss everyday?

I know your supposed to get cleanings every 12 months, but for those who cannot afford to?

Is it possible to loose teeth even if you brush and floss everyday?
It's possible to lose teeth- anything could happen. The purpose of going to the dentist is so that they can get to any spots that you may have missed and also so that they can identify possible problems or diseases. In actuality, you are supposed to go to the dentist every 6 months, but, with soaring medical costs, it's getting harder and harder! If you cannot afford to, I would suggest you take your dental care into your own hands by taking the time to look at your mouth, teeth, and gums to check for any changes. But, make sure that you still go as close to every 6 months as possible!
Reply:if you smoke and if you're calcium deficient as well....
Reply:NO!!!, because if u brush ur teeth everyday it makes ur teeth healthy and strong.
Reply:short answer YES

but not likely unless genetically problematic
Reply:Yeah... its a sad thing but some people just have bad teeth... like myself!

I have fillings in every single one of them and I floss and brush the required amount! Its always been that way and its just something I inherited.

Smoking, drinking and eating sugary foods, blah blah... it all contributes! I also drank heaps of coca cola which I kind of swilled around my mouth... that has stripped my teeth of enamel.

If your teeth are healthy just try and look after them! Even if they aren't so great do all you can to try keep them in your mouth!!!!
Reply:Yes some have
Reply:yes, in a fight a punch on ur month is enuf 2 loose a teeth or when u r old n lack of calcium.
Reply:The best way to keep your teeth healthy is to brush and floss them them after each meal and in case if it is not possible, brushing teeth before going to be at night is a must. If you care for your teeth, they will care for you because without them you can enjoy your food. Regular brushing and flossing will save you from frequent visiting a dental surgeon. It would be better to visit the dental surgeon on yearly basis so as to know the present status of your teeth and those who can not afford the expense, they can seek help from various dental hospitals offering free treatment. Try to save a little money each month separately for your dental treatment and it will help you to save you from real embarrassment and financial burden of visiting dental surgeon. The dental treatment is really very exorbitant and it is indeed very tough for the less fortunes to afford.
Reply:Yes..if ur brushing technique is incorrect.Incorrect tooth brushing technique lead to inadequate cleaning thus increases plaque accumulation(the loose teeth culprit).Check out

Did anciant people ever loose teeth or have cavities?

WELL, THIS IS A GOOD QUESTION.

LET ME ASK YOU A QUESTION.

DO ANIMALS NOW EVER LOSE TEETH OR HAVE CAVITIES? OBVIOUSLY THEY DON'T SEE A DENTIST.

IF THEY HAVE SO MUCH PAIN IT HURTS TO EAT, THEY DON'T AND END UP STARVING TO DEATH.

Did anciant people ever loose teeth or have cavities?
Yes they did.
Reply:Ancient* people did lose* their teeth early.

...wow.
Reply:That's "ancient" and "lose" and yes, of course they did. With no dental hygiene, problems in that area would have begun at a young age.

"Research shows that several types of cardiovascular disease may be linked to oral health."

"Gum disease has been linked to premature birth."

Periodontal disease can also cause other health issues in other parts of the body...may well have contributed (or been the sole factor) in some deaths back then. No reason it wouldn't have been.
Reply:more or less yes.. i think. judging from the lack of dental knowledge, dental care facilities and poor oral hygiene.

however on the other hand, they also do not have coke cola, chocolate bars coated with caramel, tobacco smoke that stuffs that results in ramphant tooth decay too!

What does a loose teeth mean in a dream?

i have this dream all the time it means anxiety is there something stressfull or worry you what about your apearance are you always concerned about that getting old etc

What does a loose teeth mean in a dream?
I've heard that you will come into money, but I'm not sure if that is true. I've also heard (and read) that it means you are worried about your teeth.
Reply:This is very simple. Your are worried about your hygiene. Teeth in particular. You feel as if you don't brush or floss as often as you should.
Reply:There is not enough to interpret here, a loose tooth has multiple meanings, including death, gossip, harsh words, tooth problems, growing up, maturity, and other things as well. It depends on the context of the entire dream. In order to interpret a dream, you need to look at the whole dream, and how the symbols interact, who, what, where, why, and how, and your attitude towards them...
Reply:Someone above said something about getting money in the future. Wow! I hope that is true-

both for you (the original person asking this one) and myself.

That is, if losing my teeth and having loose teeth (in a dream) mean essentially the same thing. Because I often dream that I lose my teeth. LOL. Interesting!
Reply:To dream that you are toothless, signifies your inability to reach your goals and advance toward your interests. Gloom and ill health will be part of your setbacks.

To see others toothless in your dream, denotes that your rivals are attempting to bring down your good name. Their attempts will be in vain.

***Everything else about teeth is located in the link below***
Reply:I heard that it was in relation to money worries.
Reply:The nutshell answer is that your subconcious is trying to let you know your anxious about something. Many times it means you are loosing a part of your self...looks, transitioning, status.

I use dreammoods.com as a quick reference for looking up symbols in my dreams. Here is what they said:

One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly, we live in a world where good looks are valued highly and your teeth play an important role in conveying that image. Teeth are used in the game of flirtations, whether it be a dazzling and gleaming smile or affectionate necking. These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. Teeth are an important feature of our attractiveness and presentation to others. Everybody worries about how they appear to others. Caring about our appearance is natural and healthy.?

Another rationalization for these falling teeth dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some specific situation. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxiety.?

Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream is an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion.

Hope it helps!

Do i need braces if my 2 bottom teeth feel weak and loose, even though i brush?

honestly, ive been brushing, but my 2 bottom teeth fel loose when i touch them, do you think a dentist might give me some type of gel to strengthen them or braces.

Do i need braces if my 2 bottom teeth feel weak and loose, even though i brush?
The perodontal ligament is what holds each tooth tightly in place. Sometimes an infection can cause a tooth to loosen. This is the body's way to get rid of an infected tooth. The tooth would eventually drop out if left unattended. So you need to find out right away why these two teeth feel loose. If your dentist determines one of those teeth has an infection inside, called an "absess," then he would need to do root canal therapy to save the tooth. Once the infection is cleared up, the peridontal ligament will tighten up again, and the tooth will feel solid. I'm not a dentist, and there may be other reasons why a peridontal ligament would loosen. I just don't know what the other causes could be. You didn't state your age, so if you are very young, I suppose it is possible that your jaw is growing, and everything is still moving around slightly. Don't forget to floss.
Reply:You need to see a dentist fast. You may have gum disease that can be reversed if caught in time. With gum disease, the gum recedes and there's less to grab the tooth with to hold it in place.
Reply:i dont think its braces you need cuz braces, they put pressure on your teeth, and it kind of makes your teeth wiggly at first. braces are for people who have crooked teeth, not wiggly ones.
Reply:I just got braces and I don't think a dentist would put braces on loose teeth. How old are you? If you are young you could just be losing baby teeth. You could also be losing baby teeth if you are older too. I am 19 and still have a majority of my baby teeth! They are pretty strong right now but the dentist said there's no telling how long baby teeth will last at that age. But if you are older this is not a good sign because it could be a sign of peridontal disease where your teeth get loose and could possibly fall out. Get to the dentist as soon as possible because this could be serious.

Do hamsters loose teeth?

NO! if they loose them they wont grow back and you will need to soften their food. give the,m boiled chicken (no seasoning) , scrambled egg (No oil or butter), and other soft foods, if he has on set of theeth left (top vs. bottom) he can still eat seeds!

Do hamsters loose teeth?
i don't think so. if they get knocked out they should grow back though unless the root is damaged.
Reply:mine haven't and I've had them for years.
Reply:i think so
Reply:They can loose their teeth but usually dont. They will grow back if they do.
Reply:Urban cowgirl is right. Also, if your hamster has lost a tooth, you should take it to the vet. I don't think it will grow back and you have to make sure he/she can still eat properly. If your ham can't eat the seed mix or pellets you feed it, you can grind it into a powder form in a coffee grinder.

Do dogs loose teeth same as humans do???
Yes my dog lost some teeth but make sure they don't swallow it.
Reply:Yes they lose their baby teeth and grow new ones. Unfortunately, if the owner doesn't properly care for their pet's teeth, they can't get false ones.
Reply:yes, dogs lose their puppy teeth and adult teeth grow back in just like in human children. If your dog loses an adult tooth take him/her to the vet to make sure it will not interfere with their chewing and nutrition.
Reply:yes they have baby teeth that they lose. the dog man
Reply:Yes, dogs do loose their teeth, we just realy don't take the time notice it. Some breeds can have up to four sets of teeth. One time I was holding my little dog and she was chewing on my hand, then all of a sudden her tooth poped out! So yes, dogs can loose their teeth!
Reply:PUPPIES LOOSE TEETH, BECAUSE I KEPT THE ONES I FOUND FROM MY PETS......
Reply:yes.
Reply:Puppies will loose their baby teeth between 3 and 7 months. Most times they will swallow them so you don't normally see them.
Reply:yes when they are puppies. If they begin to start losing teeth after they are an adult then that can be a sign of dental disease
