Do puppies loose teeth very quickly?

My pit puppy is 4 months and has lost 6 baby teeth in the last 48 hours. I was expecting it to be slower, is this normal?

Do puppies loose teeth very quickly?
I DIDNT KNOW PUPPIES LOOSE TEETH!!!

**** DUDE

IM COMING SPOT DONT LOSE YOUR TEETH ON ME NOW

HOLY CRAPPPPP
Reply:It is normal. My Airedale puppy lost all his teeth pretty quickly. When your puppy had his/her next checkup with the vet, just ask about it, and the vet can check that his/her teeth are coming in ok.

Here's a suggestion: give your puppy an ice cube to chew on. Their gums are sore!
Reply:Puppies start losing their teeth at 3 months - incisors first. The adult canine, molars and premolars come in between 4 and 7 - 8 months. Don't worry, your puppy's fine - just has sore gums. Give him lots of things to chew on to help.
Reply:Yes everthing is fine, most of the time people dont notice as they swallow them, watch his second teeth grow!
Reply:Yes. They can loose them that quickly.

It all depends on the type of dog and what they do. Pits are strong chewers and have strong jaw muscles. I would guess that your puppy likes to chew its toys a lot?

That usually helps any loose teeth come out.

Also, don't worry if you don't see many teeth around the house. Most dogs will swallow them, which is normal and doesn't harm them.
