yes i had a teacher and her kitten was very sick and lost his teeth they did not grow back. He died last year. but sometimes it is not that serious.

Do kittens loose teeth?
Yes, they lose their teeth and grow their adult teeth. It's normal.
Reply:Yes! They lose their baby teeth as they get adult teeth. Most of the lost teeth are swallowed so you never know they lost one.
Reply:Yes, most mammals have at least one set of milk teeth that they lose to their adult teeth.
Reply:Same as humans (and other mammals?) cats have a set of baby teeth which are replaced gradually by the adult set which they keep for the rest of their lives.
Reply:Yes. If you get a kitten around the 8-12 weeks that are recommended before they leave their mother they have most likely started to lose their milk (baby) teeth.

Most animals have 2 sets of teeth. Baby teeth and adult (permanent) teeth.
Reply:Im sorry to say kittens aent really supposed to loose their teeth it can make there gums get an infection and things but it will grow back in it was probly hit somehoe and became loose and fell out!
Reply:Yes they loose their old teeth and grow back new teeth just like humans they are humans except they have four legs duh lol =)
Reply:yes they do, just like us!
Reply:yep, your kitten will loose it's baby teeth and grow in the adult teeth at about 6 months of age, nothing to be concerned about.
Reply:just like a child looses their baby teeth and grows adult ones so do cats. you will probably never find them though, i only found one of my cats and it was buried behind the couch. lol dont worry if you dont find them its normal for them to be lost
Reply:Hell yeah. And they really hurt when you step on them. YEOUCH!!!!!!!
Reply:yeah they're like people sometimes they just swallow them
Reply:Err- Ive never seen one laying around
Reply:At about 4 months old, their adult teeth start coming through, and usually by the time they are 6 months old, they have their complete set of new teeth. Kittens who are teething, often bite or chew on things in an attempt to relieve painful gums.
